Thanks to the hard work of Matteo the meanmachine is developing very rapidly. the 3 pictures show 3 of the new mean machine features:
the possibility to choose the sources to be studied
the option to select words of interested linked to the word monitored
the possibility to focus the analysis in a particular time spam
Francesca going to San Diego
Today Francesca told us that the research project that Bayesfor, Sociometrics and Daniele are working at has been accepted for the International Network for Social Network Analisys that will take place in San Diego USA next march

Festival della Creatività
From tomorrow (24/10) we will be at the Festival della Creatività as one of the interpreises hosted by the INcubatore Firenze. Our stand is in the Innova area (Pad. Spadolini, ground floor).
Krems E-Democracy conference 2008
Eventually we got to Krems, last Sunday after a 903 km trip from Bologna.
The E-democracy conference organized by University of Krems and University of Wien was nice. Nice (quite) location, some interesting paper presented and friendly people. Sandro presented our paper on Italian election that was appreciated and received a number of comments.

September the 9th Giulio presented the poster Application of geochemical and chemical models to word frequency data from web information flow at the conference Learning from and for the Planet Earth, Structure and models in Earth, Materials and Life Science, 1st SIMP-AIC Joint Meeting, Sestri Levante

Journey to Austria
September the 29th and 30th we will be in Austria at the Danube University of Krems to present our paper on the last Italian general elections at the E-Democracy 2008 conference, the town looks very nice!
